I worked for a GeekSquad in Michigan. My coworkers were total scam artists. I always got my PCs that I worked on right. They even tried to have me lie to try to increase their bill. I quit after a month.

I'm talking about like 500GB hard drive you can get for like 60 bucks now back in 2009 they charged like 150 bucks anywhere I too do not shop at bestbuy unless I'm buying like an accessory for my computer or something.

They obviously thought someone who couldn't figure out that their Hard Drive was unplugged must be completely computer illiterate and wanted to take advantage.

I also love how Tard squad claimed there was a virus on a "broken" HDD. Idiots can't even lie with intelligence! xD How can you scan for a virus on a broken HDD? DERP! lol!! Maybe they swabbed it with a Q-tip and sent the sample off to a lab for testing! lmfao!

No, hard drives were not expensive in 2009. (Unless you were a moron and paid too much). They could be had for very cheap. 7200 RPM and a decent amount of storage. (30 gb up to around 100 gb or so) or better when sales were available. GEEK SQUAD is for really stupid people that are easily ripped off. lol Only a sucker goes there. Were glad they got caught yet again! Love it! xD
