クリフ・リチャード
A song from his EP "Why don´t they understand", mostly known for his smash-ballad 'The 12th of Never'
Believe it or not, Cliff was first a 50's Rock'n'Roller; then one of the greatest crooners in the 60's. During the 70's and 80's he lost his way but had still some bright moments. Nowadays his records are simply horrible. He should go back to his roots and get himself a proper producer!!!
P.S. Many thanks to the "Roots"-show on Radioeins (Berlin) and Wolfgang Doebeling for playing still his [better] records!

Here are the Lyrics, my kindly regards to Switzerland ;)
Where does a tear go, after it is fallen,
Where do the sweet dreams go?
Where does a love go after it is over?
They go where the four winds blow.
And where do the words go, after they´ve been spoken,
Words like "I love you so"?
Where does a vow go, after it's been broken?
They go where the four winds blow.
I was the one who cried the tear,
You were the one who broke the vow.
And you were the one to disappear...
Where do I go now?
Where will I wonder now that we are parted,
Where does a lost soul go?
Weary and lonely; so broken hearted,
I'll go where the four winds blow.
I was the one who cried the tear,
And you were the one who broke the vow.
Yes, you were the one to disappear...
Where do I go now ?
Where will I wonder now that we are parted,
Where does a lost soul go?
Weary and lonely so broken hearted,
I'll go where the four winds blow.
I'll go where the four winds blow.
I'll go -
Where the four winds blow.
:-)
It almost makes me cry. I first though that Cliff itself was singing. Great interpretation of a great song. Thank you so much!
