AWESOME!

I'll be with friends in Titusville too -- at the same spot where I watched Apollo 8 leave for the Moon in December, 1968. (And lots of subsequent Apollo and shuttle launches too). Take us another good video, but (and this is easy to do if using a tripod) remember to take your face out of the viewfinder for good chunks of time and watch the damn thing go up "live." Getting a big view of the rocket AND of the people, land, sea and sky makes for much better memories...!

Of course! As long as I'm still in FL, which I should be. I see every single one... I'm looking forward to FINALLY seeing Atlantis off on her last trip to Hubble in the next couple weeks, & I'll most certainly post the vid!

Nice job, Mike. My neighbors and I were watching from the beach a few blocks south of you. I've shared your video with them (and other folks who weren't there), especially because of the nice sound capture. Good stuff. Thanks!!

Thanks, next time I will remember the tripod to avoid the shaking (I had the camcorder in my left hand & camera in my right). Lets hope all goes well for Discovery's STS-119 launch later this week! I will be in Titusville & will most certainly post that vid as well...
