The sad thing is, Daria was aired on MTV, a network made by middle aged middle brow profiteers looking to suck the energy, not to mention spending money out of the "youth culture" where every move they make is the result of market research and a corporate master plan.

Inception means nothing. It's another pretentious attempt to seem "deep, complex and artsy" while being vague and full of plot holes due to the writers being too lazy to decide what they wanted to say.

They were sacrifices to the God of Patriotism in the name of the Great Bald Eagle of Justice. Also, the Russians made him do it - I mean, he had to kill those people to save his own ass, they were only middle to lower class people anyway, so nobody really cares.
