Well, that kid needs to do without....why should my kid have to share his crayons with everyone else. All the crayons are broke and ain't no telling what kind of germs they're passing to each other. Not to mention you are taking the individualism out of the classroom, telling kids everyone is equal when in fact they aren't. Can't afford a pack of crayons come on lady it's called priorities and holding the parents responsible. Walmart has them for 25 cents a pack right before school
Actually woodham334, the only wealth being redistributed in my classroom is mine. I pay for most of the supplies like crayons that my students use myself because many of my student's families can't afford them.
