Re-cut raw footage of one of my many childhood attempts to make a war movie. This one, entitled "Grenade Brigade", was supposed to be a Vietnam-era war epic, but shooting was never completed. The main battle scene involved a large array of fireworks, some of which were taped to the actors as squibs (bad idea, do not attempt). A series of "spraying" fireworks were set up above us on the hillside, shooting sparkling pellets all over the place at extremely unsafe speeds (you can see one whiz by at around 1:20). The shoot was a battle in itself, and everybody looks hilariously young. I wish I still made movies like this.

YES! Finally! This is actually what war is like. Take it from me; a combat vet who works with Josh (The Commander). This film sums up my year-long deployment to Afghanistan. "Why'd I get myself into this war."
