Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain holds emergency demonstration against Musharraf regime

Protestors from across the UK gathered at the Pakistan High Commission in London on Tuesday [6 November 2007] at an emergency demonstration organised by Hizb ut Tahrir Britain to initiate the "Stop Musharraf Destroying Pakistan" campaign.


Up to two hundred people gathered outside the embassy in a protest against Musharraf's shaming of Pakistan and oppressive rule. The demonstration also heard a clear call for the establishment of the khilafah state - a state with a truly independent judiciary, independent of western control, where men and women's education is guaranteed and idustrialisation of the economy will occur, and where poverty will be tackled.

The demonstration ended with a pledge that, as the Prophet (saw) said 'the best jihad is a word of truth spoken to a tyrant ruler' Hizb ut Tahrir vowed to continue speakimg out as long as the tyrants remain.

Muslims did contribute to advances but for the last 300 years their contributions are close to zero. They are focused on wrong 'fardh'. Giving credit where its due is a service to truth. Branding those who speaks truth as keeling to kufr is totally a wrong and biased statement.

People like you who claim the west has been the forefront of all advance and hold it on a pedestal, when the khilafah before it was responsible for far more advancement than you could possibly imagine.
