Thanks ! I've performed my entire life and never really studied Jazz. You slow it down and make the riffs understandable. With your help I am now gaining a jazz groove. A happy old man ! Thanks again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey nice lick dude, I'll be sure to learn it and apply. Not trying to sound like a jerk but I believe your lick if I'm seeing it right is in A Melodic Minor (A B C D E F# G# A), which while Django soloed based on arpeggios was the scale color he essentially used over Am6 chords (because it contains the Am6 arp and a leading tone to the root). You seem to hit F# but never F like A Harmonic Minor.
