its a new phone and you need to keep it updated.. as fas as the camera if you update to 4.7.0.85 pictures are snapped a lot faster and the screen doesny turn off

Nice review. I also experienced the 5sec shutter lag on the highest resolution. Try dropping it to the lowest and you should get more acceptable shutter speed.

your twitterberry will display properly and use the accelerometer if you go to options - advanced options - applications - highlight twitterberry(dont click it) - press your blackberry key - click "Disable Compatibility Mode."
That should solve the display orientation issue with any software you download that does that.
