Leaked 9 11 Video Shot From NYPD Helicopter.

A newly-released 17-minute video taken from an NYPD helicopter on September 11th, 2001 shows the events of that day from a new perspective.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology obtained the footage under the Freedom of Information Act as part of its investigation into the day's harrowing events.The footage was then sent to Cryptome, More.. a site which describes itself as a platform that welcomes "documents for publication that are prohibited by governments worldwide, in particular material on freedom of expression, privacy, cryptology, dual-use technologies, national security, intelligence, and secret governance -- open, secret and classified documents -- but not limited to those."

These guys must have had a terrible time not being able to get near the buildings and in particular the victims. Just having to sit back and watch and film.

When 9-11 happened it was late at night for me, and just as i was turning things off to go to bed the news came over with the video of it all. I can actually remember watching this helicopter going around the site as it was happening live, with a slight delay. RIP the victims.

@LifesAddendum I go to the experts not non-experts (e.g., in demolition it is Implosion World). Jet fuel didn't cause the destruction of WTC nor did demolition. Period.

@mujaku i still maintain my point, did you ever visit "ground zero"? or just base opinions on crappy video shots and conspiracy comments? regardless if it was an "inside job" or not, the fact remains life's were lost, and those buildings didn't "turn to dust". there was dust everywhere, yes, but watch any demolition video of random buildings and you will see a fair amount of dust. once again, the "ground zero" aftermath was everything but dust.

@LifesAddendum There is a picture right after the dustification of the towers that shows a dust covered ambulance in front of where WTC1 used to be. Oddly it has not been crushed and behind it there is very little rubble considering the massiveness of both towers, each 500,000 tons.

@mujaku um...if you think they turned to dust, then you obviously hadn't seen the site after the collapses. sure there was lots of dust and smoke, that happens with any explosion, but i can speak from first hand account at the amount of debris that was left behind. no, the buildings did not "literally turn into dust" (just my firsthand perspective).
