We have nearly same ride in finland. Here it is called Raketti (Rocket)

I went on this last week and from the ground it seemed like a good idea, then when your strapped in you just want out. 1200 ft high at top of ride.

GAH!! That was the best trip of my life. My dad was like "See that needle thing at the top of the building?" Me: "Uh, yeah Dad..." Dad: "You and are brother are riding it. Right now." Me: "OH SH*T NO." !!!! I will NEVER forget that feeling. This ride kicks serious butt. If any of u ever get the chance to go to Vegas, do NOT pass up the opportunity to ride the Big Shot. It's a feeling like no othaa!! xD SOOOO FUN.
