12 GB DDR3 1066 Mhz Ram
1TB 7200 RPM WD Caviar Black - Boot Camp running Windows 7 HP 64-bit
Ati Radeon 5870 1GB DDR5

  • 4 cores are just becoming mainstream so if you buy a 12 core mac pro you will use it for at least 5 years

  • @soulbruva3000 The 6-Core Xeon CPU (W3670) has dropped from $999 to $500, ill manually upgrade my mac pro the next year to make sure i'm still mainstream ;)

  • @DaMasterSarge If gaming was my core business I would have bought a PC instead of a Mac. You get better (game) performance for less money, true that. But I really hate the way Windows looks, feels, and more importantly..works. For gaming it's great (thank you Bootcamp!), for day-to-day stuff and (creative) work it's not the OS for me. Which is a big deal since I spend more hours working then gaming on this machine. The server parts make it expensive but this solid machine pays for it self.

  • @mycomputergl0wsblu Macs in my opinion are in every way more superior to PCs except for the fact. I don't know of anyway to make a custom MAC like you can a custom PC, MACs tend to cost more, but then again you get what your pay for. And final the fact that the OS is missing a lot of things, and lacks the ability to plays most games. But I guess you guys do have Bootcamp.

  • @91lilfrozone23 No I've had friends who upgraded their macs graphics and your right mac pros are beast I just checked their performance.

  • @retreto1998

yes it is overpriced, but what i like about 'em is that they retain their value pretty dang good. you can buy a macbook pro, use it for 2 years and sell it. with the money you got you just put another 300 and you get a brand new macbook pro ;D

same goes for the mac pro. but yea, they are very overpriced.. they should cost 10% less AT LEAST.

  • @91lilfrozone23 i don't think cheapest is the best word..... perhaps least expensive. Still and overpriced piece of shit

  • @TeamLeftmatch777

dude, macbook pros are cheap compared to mac pros. if you want a decent apple desktop go for the imac.. the downside is you can't really upgrade it lol

the cheapest mac pro (desktop) is 2,499 bucks. but it's a beast of a computer if you upgrade the graphics.

  • @91lilfrozone23 WTF apple my macbook pro only costed 1099

  • @TeamLeftmatch777

the 12 core mac is 4,999 lol
