Dear Nick,
Part - 1 (see further posted replies)
Let's be crystal clear, I am not attacking a defeated candidate, I'm attacking you. I agree Matthew was a good Councillor but even he will acknowledge, as he did in the Enfield Advertiser Newspaper when asked for a response: "Enfield failed to invest in eastern Enfield".

Part 2 (leading on from Part 1)
This is somewhat surprising given that Cllrs Rye, Lavender and Rye for that matter told me several times to my face that neglect of eastern Enfield by then Tory Council is a myth. Just before the election, Mike Rye went even further eastern Enfield to acknowledge concerns he had initially claimed as a myth. Which is to be

So while you may think I have better things to do as a newly elected Councillor using the You Tube is one of my worthwhile things for me to demonstrate that you are not as new politics as you suggest. You know and so do many people. If after the next general election you win and you improve the east by making sure your government does not cut the BSF budget and other regeneration budgets, I'll be the first Cllr to shake your and say well done.

Part - 4 (leading on from part 3 just in case you don't understand)
But until then, surely there are more worthwhile things for a newly elected MP to be doing than making such unnecessary comments which try to insult local people who want to improve their community.

good luck Nick! remember No duck houses!!!
Using the mother of an ex-Tory Councillor who got kicked out during the recent local elections because he didn't listen to the people of eastern Enfield is so crass! I mean, if you are meant to be new politics why use old methods to try and get your message across? But what do you expect from a marketing bloke who is not too dissimilar to David Cameron.
The new politics will be grassroots - from the people, by the people and for the people.

Attacking a defeated candidate after the election is very poor form indeed. Matthew Laban may well have lost his council seat (by a mere 57 votes) but he was an excellent local councillor. Surely there are more worthwhile things for a newly elected councillor to be doing than making such uneccessary comments.
