  • Amazing! You just made my day. I see this instrument for the first time and this instrument changed the idea of "music instrument"..

  • @Unbeaten93 Tell me more. In what way did it change your idea of musical instrument?

  • @MisterScott99 well you know. I see this for the first time. I thought that you need to "blow", hit or press some instrument to play the sound, but on this instrument you don't touch anything.. You just move your hands and you get the sound..

How many years have you been practicing on that instrument, and is it easy?

p.s. sorry for my bad English. I'm from Bulgaria.

  • @Unbeaten93 We move our hands in the instrument's electrical field to change the volume and pitch of the sound, closer to or farther from the antennas. This performance was after about 3 years of practice, but I've been a musician all my life (keyboards and percussion). Playing the theremin is a lot like whistling or humming. It's widely considered one of the easiest to play but the most difficult to play well.

  • Fantastic!

  • @TheMistert53 Thanks!

  • Oh, man... I just read this and it makes me sad. Well you are a good theremin player and don't forget that. I'm sad to see you leave the theremin community but we must do as we feel is right for our selves. What did you do with your theremin, have you sold it?

  • Beautiful :)

  • @kabanosi These are around $400 new. It's an EtherWave" made by Moog Music. I got mine as a kit from zzounds.com. You might find some good deals for an EtherWave on ebay because lots of people abandon the instrument.

  • @MisterScott99 ar those things expensive? cause i would maybe use it in a metal band or something i also play guitar
