I knew you were great even when I just met you. You were like a father to you students, a friend to all those in need of one. Mamimiss ko ang kakupalan, kalokohan, mga ibang klaseng pilosopiang di man katanggap tanggap e tama naman. Hindi na pareho ang clinic, wala na yung bike nyo sa harap. Sobra-sobra na ang pagkain sa faculty meeting, walang uubos. Salamat doc, sa lahat.

I was just surfing YouTube and I saw this. I didn't know he was gone. I know he will be sorely missed coz he was a great teacher and a great friend to his students.

dog gerry,ma mimis ka talaga namen, i think sa lahat ng naging teacher ko sa upcvm days ko, madame talga ako natutunan sayo sa practice.
i was amazed anjan pala ako sa presentation, i was in maroon scrubs doing the surgery with you, i think it was ovariohysterectomy, nagulat ako may picture pala tayo nun na nakatago. as expected am a small animal practitioner, who learned a lot from you. sayang email pa naman ako sayo ng email everytime i had difficult cases.rest well doc, paalam.thank u

Doc E one of th emost respected professors in UPCVM. More than a decade ago..he'd always tell me to prove all things to be wise; in the beginning there was chaos but all things will end well; and do all things as if it all comes from your heart- not what other people will say and think of". he's very supportive,approachable,downtoearth,simple-and a walking encyclopedia..NO ONE CAN REPLACE YOU SIR.THANK YOU VERY MUCH.May your loved ones find comfort in GOD

I remember the humbling simplicity. Doc Gerry just exuded kindness and quiet which makes one feel good. none of the brashness and arrogance of those who know they are excellent. And this is a 25 year old memory from student days at up diliman. Thank you doc Gerry. Thank you for those who shared this video.
