nothing sounds better than a good tube overdrive or an analog synth. But as I dont have money right now... midi keyboards & VST's works fine for me

I really have to make a better video, this one sucks! :)
Ableton is a digital recording software that supports the most common plug ins called VST's. Guitar rig is "all the guitar effects" you'd want in a software. Becuase it supports VST's, you can drag guitar rig onto an ablton track & play or play/record. The project Mix Io makes things easier (less mouse clicks) and is made to work with an app like Abletone right out of the box. You can use something as simple as an M-Audio USB transit.

What is guitar rig? did u play these parts live straight into live 7?

Yes I did... As it says in the intro this is a total production time of 20 minutes.
1. Drag a drum loop into track one...
2. Play live bass on track 2.... Make up a part quick & dirty... Record it...
3. Play live guitar on track 3.... Thats it...
It cost a few bucks to get setup, but if you love music improv and jamming like I do, this represents the best bang for the buck you can ever get... All you really need is a good laptop & an Maudio USB Transit.

Oh BTW since making that video, I am now using Ablton Live 8 Suite, Guitar rig 3 with the foot kontrol pedal.
