ROTTERDAM BAR TV - NO 1

This is part of a documentary on the travesty sorrounding the Rotterdam Bar... Developers want to rip it down and build apartments or a hotel or whatever... it's over 200 years old and, while a little 'run down' in recent years, we think it should be renovated and saved for future gnerations of Belfast and world musicians and patrons to enjoy! Rock on Ludwig! Lovely stuff. Included a shot of the Rotterdam (which unfortunately is as dead as Jacko) in our video, as it is nothing short of a sin and clearly a crime that Belfast's best music venue has closed forever.

Man.. it's not closed forever... last 'rumour' i heard was that the development company in question were actually in receivership!!!! Wait and see... not over til the fat lady sings... The Rotterdam is still standing as i type this... and some money grabbers had it open (albeit shabbily) during the recent Tall SHips festival in Aug 09.

I feel I have to add this comment...

I went and saw 'indigorain555' at his place of work... the Crystal shop in Belfast!... I was with my 12 yr old daughter Banbha, we were going busking, and He bought a CD off me!! so i thought i'd mention that...

Bbecause right now... and it creeps me out to say this... every penny counts... i am determined to make this situation better than working for 'the man'!!
