Hits like this are garbage and have NEVER and will NEVER be a part of this league.

You're taught at a very young age how dangerous sending someone head first into the boards can be and it usually ends up with you be suspended. people, like Carcillo, dont give a shit. Shit like this makes me cringe, if he went into the boards just a little more head on would've been bad..

@geckoisgiko i'm a die hard flyers fan. probably shouldn't be giving you hawks any tips, but i watched carcillo for a few years , so i've seen it. he will never be a big point getter, has a ton of penalty minutes and fights. your coach doesn't have a chain on him tho. if you noticed in philly, coach lavi was able to keep him under control after one early incident under lavy's wing. carcillo is a little tough guy not afraid of anyone. he has a presence on the ice. i love his game when its legal.

as a hawks fan and this being carcillos first season on the hawks, idk what to think of him yet. is he normally a dirty player, is he good when he's not suspended? someone please explain. his hit last night against the oilers was the stupidest and dirtiest hit ive seen in a while

dirty hit and i understand the suspension but i disagree w/ it or just a fine or max 1 game for me but i understand the ruling and carcillo's rep didnt help

but pikanen went down real easy i am pretty sure that was not carcillos intentions at all

he was prob trying to run him into the boards upright and fight for the puck or just try to get seperation and not board the guy

carcillo really isnt that dirty anymore, he really did mature a bit in philly and rarely does anything dirty anymore

@13Xanadu Funny...I played hockey most of my life, and I never went down that easy, so yes...I know plenty about hockey. Just about anyone I've ever played with wouldn't have went down. I also know plenty about physics. Maybe you're easy to knock over. And that was not a "good push". My wife pushes harder. And Carcillo is maybe 6 feet tall and a pound or two over 200 lbs. Hardly "well over 200 lbs". Do your research before you claim to have more knowledge than someone else about a subject.

@13Xanadu First off, if there's someone between me and the puck, I'm going through them to get the puck. That's concern for the puck. If you're scared, then get out of my way or play a no-contact sport. Second, again, Carcillo barely pushed him. A professional that isn't diving should be able to stay up better than that. Even the refs didn't think there was a penalty on the play. There was no intent to injure. And just because you can't follow logic doesn't mean something isn't logical.
