He was a Christian apologist. THe essence of love and beauty are more than matter, they r non-matter, so is our consciousness. I think that love and meaning in life suggest that we were engineered for much more than just physical continuation of the species, but the most important qualities of life are these eternal values. relational interaction can be eternally perpetual, that is our purpose.

I think God's existence is intuitively self-evident -- consciousness, beauty of nature, emotions: fear, love, morality, the conscience, the rational mind. It's also obvious that real values such as justice exist, how we appeal to a higher standard of morality when we pronounce judgement on those who commit evil crimes. Logic is a universal, eternal law which we only discovered due to having rational thought.

@cyberrouge2 that's because is the artificial reality which we created and are constantly modifying... actual reality is described in scripture as the garden of eden, since "man" understood reality in a god like sence "good and evil" science, etc. was removed from that reality by his own and started creating his own artificial reality, to experience all life ways and posibilities, ultimatedly to return to the garden of eden and be one with god in his spirit and re-unify with all creation
