Hey Alex, I made a video doing this on Ubuntu 10.04, you can watch it... it does excactly the same thing. I used it on VMWare Workstation 7 for PC.

Yes, but it will delete everything on that virual machine.

Haha yeah accept that rm deleted terminal, and itself. Not terminal, terminal wasn't doing anything but running RM and piping it's input and output.

Yeah, 'rm -rf /' works on mac yeah. And I am not sure for unix but I know that 'rm -rf /*' will always work.
