Qatar is a tiny country with huge gas and oil reserves - which is why its 250,000 citizens are said to be the richest people in the world.

  • people say when their oil runs out everything will be over, here: bout 2 yrs ago all middle eastern countries with oil did geological research to see how much oil is actually left and when will it run out. and the middle east has oil that will not run out for at least 145 years ATLEAST and that just what they have there's many other places that still has oil and have not been drilled so ya so much for u guys that are HOPING they run out.   • I hope people don't really believe this. Qatar only has 250,000 citizens because it won't give citizens to hundreds of thousands of other stateless Arabs. Not even to mention millions of Asian migrant workers living in slave conditions.
