  • Comment on the arguments: For both sides, especially Americans, you know we were British at the time, right? So we fought ourselves. end of discussion, GET OVER IT!!

Concidering the equipment of that era, it was the best way to fight at the time. Having hundreds of soldiers in tighly packed formations and multiple lines facing the enemy, all of them firing at them almost simultaneously, then crouching to let the line behind them to unleash a volley of fire was terrifying and far more effective than the modern way, simply because it took half a minute or longer to fire just two shots.

  • personally i like the old version better than the new. How did you get the minimap and stuff away

  • lol, 4 people missed the I like button

  • @kos83

Sure that's how they fought.... generally. two armies wouldn't just face each other and take turns firing, they would try and out-manuever eachother and gain the upper hand. plus, the smoke from the battle would usually be so thick that they couldn't see the other army, and the solution was to send a volley in the general direction of the enemy because some of the muskets were bound to hit. In addition, the armies would be much farther away and only send a few volleys before charging.

  • this song! i've heard it many times in movies, but i just can't remember what it was called.. anyone know?

ps. this video is freaking awesome. make more damn you

  • lov it when the comander looks up

  • @AD1991clipshamhouse

LMAO sharpe's a novel. a fiction. inaccurate and artificial. do u take that as a reference? i prefer history. sounds more relevant than extraordinarily unreal tales

  • I admire your work. This video, along with most others you have made, is excellent. 5*.
