I think that the people most upset with the "prequels" are the people with 30 years of fandom on their belts. You guys/girls wore it pretty rough when the full story came out. But, not us newer fans, we got the story as it happened. I was 9 when The Phantom Menace came out. I'd seen the original trilogy at least a hundred times by then, but I NEVER liked Obi-Wan or Yoda. Then the prequels come out and portray them as quite contrary. Your legendary figures. Gut-wrenching. I hope I made my point .

Loved his like 90 page bio... Only thing that gave me any insight to his character.

This is the best T.V. spot for Star Wars so far like the others one with Jango Fett, The clone army, Mace Windu, Yoda, and even the revenge of the siths T.V. spots were also awesome and the olds too which I will watch when I find a video of It. :D

this is neat i love star wars and maul. i agree w/ sshuisken anyone who diverges from this is a critic not a fan

@MJCrest I was 8 when Phantom Menace came out and I thought it was awesome. I'm 20 now and I still love that film. I love the original trilogy more than anything in the world, but I appreciate all the things that the newer trilogy did right (and yes, there were plenty of flaws). True fans love Lucas regardless. Anyone that diverges from this is a critic, not a fan. I'm a Twins fan, and I love them even when they lose. Star Wars is the same.

its true

@MJCrest You speak the truth. I, for one, am thankful that Lucas was in charge of the prequels. Would you rather they be set up like the Expanded Universe?

@lordloukota lol enjoy your nap, idk i just mostly consider maul the truest sith, i dont think dooku ever once had sith eyes in the movies which means he didnt immerse himself in the dark side when he fought, maul and sidious both despised the jedi more than anything, and the sith's life goal is to destroy the jedi and rule the galaxy

@SWCeagles2007 i hate to burst your bubble there but that is the sith order
what is the fastest way from point A (no power) to point B (pure power) so they are all true sith. maul had more hate for the jedi, dooku was more of a manipulator and palpatine is the mastermind behind all of them to gain power through others. thats all i got and the only good part of eps 1-3 was podracers and clones im done now going to take a nap lol

darth maul was a true sith who believed in the ideals of the order to destroy the jedi, dooku was barely a sith, he was simply so prideful and had no trust in the republic so he joined the seperatists. i think he simply viewed the dark side as a path to more power, but never truly embraced the sith order, vader was kind of the same, he loved the dark side for its power, but he never really wanted to be a sith, he only did it so palpatine could teach him to save padme, but it corrupted him
what is the sundtrack name please tell me?

@Dagnown163 It starts off with The Emperor's Theme from Return of the Jedi and finishes with the ending flourish of Inner City from the original Star Wars.

You people realize Lucas for the most part, followed the books. Why would he keep Maul alive for 3 episodes, when the book had him killed in the first. Seriously....
usma14 7 months ago
@usma14 The books are adaptations from Lucas' screenplays. So if he had further use for Darth Maul in the films that would have been reflected in the books.
