Case Study Summary
Scientists and engineers at ORNL conduct basic and applied research and development to create scientific knowledge and technological solutions that strengthen the nation's leadership in key areas of science; increase the availability of clean, abundant energy; restore and protect the environment; and contribute to national security.
Problem
Oakridge National Laboratory needed a high performance, 24/7 operation video wall for security monitoring. The display system needed to be shipped pre-configured because no on-site installation would be possible due to the tight security restrictions of the laboratory.
Solution
CineMassive Displays built a custom thermal cooling chamber behind the display wall to ensure the lowest possible operating temperatures of the displays. The entire display system was sent completely pre-cabled and a custom mount was created in order to make it easy to connect the displays to the wall without professional assistance.
All this is, is putting televisions together. They should be bezeless or it's pointless.
