sry my bad.im not saying that rx's are best sportcars-far from it.I do agree with you on that one-surprise factor :P. As for those 200minis-i've seen some mini's with hayabusa's engines and striped out interior of everything non critical for running.Nice run btw :D

GO MINI GO!!!!!!! yeah the rotary's dont have much torque down low...so off the line they aint that great..still love the good old rota's tho =]...love minis more tho!

comparing 500 or so kilos mini with 200 bhp and Rx7 with 1250 Kg and 280 bhp at best(if stock).its reasonable that Rx cant win this match. Why not put it next to exige S2(240 or 270 Bhp)? i bet that outcome wouldnt be so great.Still i like mini's especially old ones.

Your missing the point, normal looking mini beats a so called sports/performance car, its all about the surprise factor :-) RX owner was fine about it and the crowd thought it was very funny.
At the strip I do not choose who is in the other lane, some ya win and some ya lose !
p.s. mini weight 780kg (been on a weigh bridge) and had 145bhp at the wheels (on Janspeed rolling road) when this video was taken, so not 500kg and 200bhp.
