While making AIRHEADS, the producers uncovered some amazing archival footage from the late 80's . This was some of the first paragliding in North America when the sport was in it's infancy. It was a miracle nobody was killed as nobody really knew quite what they were doing, neither the teachers, or the students !

  • Man wings have come a long way, thankfully

  • what is mark twight doing in this video? can someone explain to me if he knows so much about being yoked like how he trained the guys in 300 to be, how come he's not yoked?

  • the flying site at the end, with the helmeted pilot, looks like a spot on the N. Thompson River just west of Savona, BC, which is flyable in an East wind.

  • ha ha ha. great video! I've seen the full version. super!!
