SFCA, under the direction of Magen Solomon, sings the irresistable National Weather Forecast by Henry Mollicone (b.1946) at the American Choral Directors' Association (ACDA) regional conference spotlight concert. Performed at St. Boniface Church in Anaheim, March 1, 2008.
True to the text, during the last week of February while the different choirs were preparing for the ACDA convention, it was 75 degrees and sunny every day.
National Weather Forecast - Henry Mollicone (text and music)
Thunderstorms will bring sleet and rain to the southwest states tomorrow.
High winds below twelve thousand feet will prevail,
causing rotating storms that could produce tornadoes.
But California will be sunny and mild.
Heavy freezing winds will predominate over New England,
and snow will fall on parts of Maine;
Some schools may be closed.
Heavy freezing winds will predominate over New England,
but by the weekend, we may expect relief.
And California will be sunny and mild.
Now we'll take a look at the Rockies:
The Rocky region will have sleet and rain, and some heavy snow tomorrow.
Some slopes may be closed - check the ski reports in the morning.
Yet California will be sunny and mild.
i love how responsive this audience is!!!!!

Thanks for posting this on You Tube! Our director, Sanford Dole, was at the ACDA conference and we are singing this now in our current concert series. I can use this to practice. Much appreciated. Lynn Huidekoper, Menlo Park, Cantabile Chorale
