A fan of Pete Duel's visits his grave in Penfield, NY, September 28, 2004. I didn't realize my then-husband was recording at the time, but I present this here for other fans who want to visit Pete's grave and can't or want to visit and need to see it to better find it. I chose the song "Remember When" by Alan Jackson because one night, when I first heard the song, I reflected back over my life and right up to Pete Duel. I was then compelled to go to Penfield.

  • I thank you for this lovely, moving tribute, I am determined to get there one of these days, even though I hate flying and have to come all the way from the UK, I will do it, a fitting tribute to a beautiful, talented and handsome man, he will never be forgotten and will always be loved. Rest in Peace Peter. xx

  • With all my heart l thank you for posting this, l thank you for laying the flowers, l thankyou for choosing such a beautiful tune for this video...I THANK YOU.

  • why must we loose people we love...it hurts to much

  • This is lovely..very moving..tears in my eyes....

  • Loved this guy! What a talent. What we missed from him.

  • I was 13 years old and I had the most amazing crush in the world on the actor Pete Duel and was devastated when he took his own life. It was just the beginning of what was to be a series of devastating suicides in my life, including my own mother's suicide two years later followed by my brother's 20 years after that. But, Pete still holds a special place in my heart. Some things are just not to be comprehended..........He was beautiful.

  • The tragedy still remains such a talented man was disturbed enough to take his own life. It is a reminder that the enjoyment that he gave us as an actor came at a greater price than we knew.

  • I still remember waking up that morning with my mom telling me that Pete passed away. I think that I cried all that day and more. Thanks for such a lovely tribute. It is a darn shame for us that we lost him so soon.

  • I've just discovered Alias Smith & Jones a couple weeks ago and was sad to learn Pete died half-way through Season 2. It is just not the same show without Pete in it. How sad that his had to happen. Even sadder that the show so easily went on without him, but in my opinion it wasn't the same without Pete!

  • He was great, and the actor who replaced him wasn't the same. This is sweet. I can't help but feeling your grief is being intruded on a little...Beautiful music though.
