Traxxas Summit challenge

Stock Traxxas Summit with 8.4v NiMh batteries. I have one set of Traxxas 3000mah, and one set of Team Orion 4500mah. I've had the car for under a week, so I have not had so much practice yet. I have to say that the Summit by far exeeded my expectations, it is very powerful and have good acceleration. I can drive it anywhere. Nice running time too with 4500mah batteries.

Hello!

I am just getting into these RC bashing trucks. I just picked up a Traxxas 1/10 scale Summit and did not realize that it does not come with a charger like the T-Slash. What charger do you recommend with this truck? Can I use the EZ- Peak charger or do I need something else because of the two batteries.

@samuraicinema You have to charge one battery at the time, or have two chargers. It's not good for the batteries to be charged with a paralell or series adapter. I'm using a Hyperion EOS0606i

hey cool video ... i just want to know if Summit is durable .. i mean if it falldown from 50 cm or it crashes it will not brake up like my JUNK Losi mini rock crawler ... please do answer me correctly as am damm willing to buy me one of these on near future ... am not asking about crawling abilities... just want to know if it is durable for crashign or falling down ....................

@hovilig It's durable. The only things I have broken is both bumper carriers when I was at the skatepark the first time. But that was from 2-3 metres of free fall.... I've been driving in wery rough terrain, and it have fallen1 meter many times. You can take a look at my skatepark video.

the trx 3000's last forever.. at least mine have.. I've had my truck for over a year and have at least 200 hours on them. but i do crawl 95% of the time so factor that in..

I have a Stampede 4x4 VXL and i use an onyx 235 charger it works great and charges fast and even charges my lipos, but only charges one battery at a time. the Onyx 245 is Approx. $120 , it will charge 2 at a time, and lipos.
