A recent Family Day at CFB Shearwater gave me the opportunity to capture firsthand what its like to fly in the venerable old Sea King as we took a trip around Halifax harbour. From Shearwater we took off and headed into the harbour on the Dartmouth side, past the refinery, over the MacDonald bridge and beyond. At one point in the vid I was allowed to move out of my seat, attach the safety harness, and join the crewman sitting in the doorway!
