I am fairly large so the weight of my 50D doesn't bother me :) I also have a powershot SX1 is and along with the 1080p video i have a focal range of 29 to 1160mm (digital zoom set to 2x), full HD... if you have an SLR and want that sort of flexibility you'll need a suitcase or a couple of mates to carry all your glass! :)) oh and be extremely wealthy cos big glass aint cheap!

I understand you would like a separate cam for vid! Since these babies are so heavy, if I could get the 7D with some good footage and less to carry, I am good!

i thought he mentioned that this isn't a replacement of any of the canons?!?!
If there is a 60D, it better top the canon 7D and all of Nikons (D300, D300s, D3x, D3)!!

Agreed, a 60D will be along fairly soon. I have seen a video where the Canon rep said the 7D was a totally new line aimed at sports and wildlife photogs. Personally I prefer to have separate video camera, but that's just me :)

Indeed. Me thinks that they have even already indicated that there WILL be a 60D within the next 6 months or so. (They really need a product in that price range that handles video) A 60D with the new 15-85 lens (replacing the 17-85) is probably gonna make me a very happy camper when it comes. This one seems just a little too pricy!
Oh and come on, fix the sound on this video!
