More importantly, these special "UBIK" brand cigarettes are from the Philip K. Dick novel of the same name. In the novel the man character is forced into a dream world/death state and the only clues given to him that he is dead or stuck in a sub reality are various products with the brandname "UBIK". Or something like that.

Think of it this way: Negitivland may be trying to tell you something about the "reality" you are in right now. ;)

@pukedinmycar I've got a fondness for that book, certainly. I'm pretty sure that the negativland guys have all read PKD, but no one requested "UBIK" specifically. It's just another little thing for someone to watch and catch if they like!
