I never use more than 3 oz of corn sugar. Even if it's not well primed after 2 weeks, the wait is always worth it. The priming naturally takes longer with less sugar, but it will eventually carbonate well enough. Also, over-primed does NOT mean undrinkable. I can't believe you just fucking dumped your homebrew like that. Totally could have just let it settle. 15 minutes, pour those in a pint glass and enjoy. If happens again, uncap all remaining, let settle, and recap. They'll be fine!!

I used 1 1/2 cups instead of the usual 1 cup.
