  • @AmericanPatriotz My only guess would be that they are Army SFOD-Delta, you can't really tell what unit they are unless you have had personal experience with them.

  • @NoOdL3z18 true. i have no idea why more ppl didn't comment on that part. do you know what unit that is?

  • where do you get all this footage?

  • @gandhicakes

I am not 100% about this situation since I never ever been in the guard. Guard I believe can be taken over by the Federal government at any time. I don't think the guard would ever try to take over another state. The guard is the exact same thing as the army, same exact units, Just part time and state/federal funded.

  • @kicks92738 Ah thanks for clearing that up. Ya I'd read a book by Charlie Beckwith about Delta and they mention HRT just I didn't realise only National Guard units were able to operate inside the US.

Are Guard units deployed from a State level or Federal? I mean what's to stop someone from theoretically deploying their guard units under a different pretext and "seizing" their own territory?

  • @gandhicakes

Yep thats correct, US military units can not operate within the states. The National Guard which is State funded, has different laws which allows them to operate in the States. You will see may Guards helping out with natural disasters and such. The HRT was actually created initially as Delta forces internal counter part since Delta was not aloud to operate within the States. Thats why HRT trains with Delta on many occasions and Delta sometimes oversees operations. Cool stuff

  • @kicks92738 I thought no Army unit could operate inside the United States unless a state of emergency was declared? I'm actually Canadian so I'm not 100% on your laws.

I know that's why HRT is trained so well (Aside from saving lives I mean). Do National Guard units operate under different law?

  • The FBI HRT is a very well trained unit. Even though its main focus is Hostage Rescue in the States, they have been deployed over sea's for various reasons. These boys do joint training from Delta and recruit from the Special ops community. Having a team full of SEAL's and Special Forces is just as capable of counter terrorism operations as the military. If terrorism were to strike in the states, National Guard and the HRT will be called upon.

  • @TwoKnives88 Yes, its from the SOCOM US NAVY SEALs video game TV SPOT.

  • i have seen the scene at 3:27 somewhere. Anyone know what it's from?
