@IamHelenKeller Could you try to get her memories down on tape while she is still with us? They would make interesting listening.

Thanks. She had her birthday last week. She still lives alone, but my aunt visits her at lunch time every day :-)

God bless your grandmother. You are fortunate to have her. Mine was born in 1904 and no longer with us, I miss her.
Your grandmother must be a living history book!
And what wisdom must she have! God bless her!

@IamHelenKeller Your grandmother is very fortunate as many are not so lucky to have such a full life. God bless your grandmother, She is a wonderful inspiration to all that it is possible! :-)

My grandmother was born in 1903 and she's still alive!!! She'll be 107 in Feb. She would have been 5 years old when this was filmed. Its strange to think that some people are still alive that could have remembered the Romanov children isn't it?

I would if I could.....but I live about 1600 miles away from her.
She has some interesting memories, such as the 1918 influenza epidemic when
she was 15 years old. But I doubt if she would have many memories of world events such as the Russian revolution.....since she's American. But I could be wrong. I think she's just a little bit older than Alexei Romanov would be if he was still alive.
