iMovie '09 - Picture-In-Picture as Split-Screen

iMovie doesn't have split-screen video - being able to show multiple videos simultaneously (pity) - but by spending enough time fiddling around with Picture-in-Picture you can create a very similar effect.

I started with a black screen, then used the picture-in-picture to add the first part of the song. I exported the video, re-added it to iMovie as an event, then repeated for the other three parts.
Naturally, this can get rather tedious, and I believe Apple should really get around to putting in split-screen, but this does get the job done.

Very cool. Sounds annoying with putting more than one picture-in-picture in, though. I did a similar type of video (but with only two videos at a time) for an original song of mine. If you go to my channel, it's the one called "Into Summer."

i would rather not do that :D and there is a split screen option if you go to prefrenses and check show advanced options then you can drag a image/video over that first one and wala it turns split screen
