    But she was using that lightning imagery to symbolize best friend right? Like, it could come once in your life, but if you look really carefully (and it all comes down to you) it could come twice so I thought she wrote this about her best friend, Robin's, death. But anyway, this song has touched my heart ever since the first time I heard it. There's just something about it that bring me to tears everytime I listen to it. Well, almost every Stevie's songs do but this one is kinda special. :)

    No, it was written before that. The song initially was about her time in San Francisco before making it big. Then it took on new meaning later after this event.
