Cuban Refugees

Our cruise ship encountered a raft with eight or so Cubans attempting to make their way to the United States. The crew stopped, provided food and water, and offered to take them aboard. They gladly accepted the supplies, but declined to leave their raft. We did not leave the area until a U.S. Coast Guard cutter arrived to return them to Cuba.
