NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train 3251 to Long Branch departs Newark Penn Station with Comet IV Cab Car 5026 leading and ALP-44M 4426 pushing on the rear. Train was 8 Comets. This video was taken from aboard Raritan Valley Line local train 5729 waiting to leave Newark after the NJCL fully departs. This video was taken on April 7, 2009.

  • I'd say it has a nice locomotive on it, however I feel it looks unbalanced with a single Comet V that happens to be next to the ALP. If you wanna see a really unbalanced looking train, look for that one cheese set last March and April of 4614 and 5020. Terrible looking set, very ugly.

  • I was in New York yesterday, in this vid I'm on my way back.

  • I railfanned Newark Penn yesterday as well, I was there about 12-2 or 3, then I went to Hoboken via PATH.

  • Very nice consist on that train.
