@torr59622 well, Chavez was allready past his best when he fought Randall.
Also Whitaker duck him for years in LW and SLW, he got that "draw" when Chavez was past his prime fighting in a wight class in wich he never was competitive.
@DosXsConTecate Chavez had a better career than Taylor or Randall and is on par with Whitaker. I would take Whitaker's career cause his only loss in his prime is worst decision ever (vs JL Ramirez) and draw vs Chavez. Randall beat Chavez to me twice. Paul Pender beat Ray Robinson twice, but Robinson much better career, so it is what it is.
@poeticjigga AGREED. Chavez was a beast at 135, but speed was his kryptonite. Taylor outboxed him for 11 rds, Whitaker owned him, but Randall just outpowered and outtoughed him here.
@deltok Respect is one thing. All boxing fans respect Chavez. But this fight was a gift decision. When King ruled boxing, unfairness ruled the boxing world. What was done to Randall after 2 superb performances was terrible.
@DosXsConTecate Its not Chavez fault but its still bullshit. This is 2nd fight moron-the 3rd fight was almost 11 yrs. later. Fight 1 and 2 Randall outfought Chavez. You cant say if he loses he's past his prime then count his wins late in his career as something special. I mean, you can, but you sound like a complete idiot.
@tioteresoproductions Wasnt just that fight. People forget that Taylor fought beautifully over Aaron Davis and struggled but beat Glenwood Brown before moving up for Norris instead of fighting Chavez again. A huge Duva mistake fighting Norris. Every punch he threw from Rd. 2 on hurt Taylor and went a long way to fucking up Taylor's career as well.
I cannot believe this fight! :(
