"Tonight, I Celebrate My Love" is a song written by Gerry Goffin and Michael Masser recorded as a duet single released in 1983 by Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack. It became a big hit for both singers, peaking at number sixteen on the Billboard Hot 100, number five on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and number four on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. It also peaked at number two in the UK, becoming the 25th best selling single of 1983 in the UK. It boosted the careers of both stars and brought them both a return to prominence. The song was used in the mid-1980s as the love theme for Bo and Hope on Days of our Lives.

This came from a reasonably good vob file source although the image was a little bit blurry and the colors were dead. Plus it was plagued with some fizzy grain that has been almost completely removed. There is only a tiny bit left that you wont notice. Of course the color and lighting has been corrected and boosted making it much more vibrant that it used to be and I have refocused the image as much as possible.

Sound was in stereo but very hissy and had some other bizarre noise artifacts. I have replaced it with a stereo track that has been time compressed to fit the video. The old analog master tape hiss is still evident but greatly reduced in the replacement stereo track and I have fixed a few shortcomings in the audio. It sounds way better than the vob file source audio.

This is the best quality online for this great duet from so many years ago and I hope you enjoy it! :-)
