Let's Play Final Fantasy 13-2 Demo [10] - Quests & Unweakened Atlas

Sorry for the lack of commentary... there really wasn't a lot that I wanted to say anyways.

A few things to mention first off.

The Moogle Search thinger is activated with L1/LB. I spent a bit of time screwing around to figure that out.

Probably the best COM in this area is the Meonekton, but it starts off very weak and has a pretty low capture rate. I was just screwing around with wasting Monster Items and was surprised at how versatile Meonekton really is. I still don't think it has the ability to Launch enemies tho, but he can severely damage enemies that are resistant or strong vs Physical. What else could you want?

I show the two quests that I didn't complete in the rest of the walkthrough. It appears that the Personal Notes quest can only be completed after you do at least the Drugs quest, and possibly both of the other two quests. You can't talk to her before that, although you can hear her saying stuff wandering around town. That's why it's a little disjointed... I got the notes before finding the girl.

I've determined that Atlas can't be beaten without weakening him at this stage in the game. Perhaps if you grind for a lot longer, you'll get strong enough. You can later rewind time and come back to beat Atlas though. He's not that tough compared to some bosses... just hits hard. Who knows? Maybe I could have Tortoise'd through his attacks, but I don't think I could. It looks like he deals about 800 damage per hit or so. More health required! :D
