I've been saving the world and not even knowing it!!

I wash my jeans once a year, I wear them hundreds of times, I never iron, and I wash in cold water because our water heater is broken...wow! Being a slob is all it takes to save the planet!

Good work! I wonder about the number of jeans that are only worn for a 'season' before being replaced, because they are 'out of fashion'. The fashion industry seems to be designed to make people 'need' new clothes each season. I wonder if we can ever become sustainable, when this is the 'norm of behaviour' pushed at people through the media. Our vanity may be the end of us. At least we will be in fashionable jeans when it happens.

ahh very true sadly, luckily i go by how worn out my jeans are, i need to replace one of my pairs cause its worn down enough that i am getting small holes lol very emberassing;)
