I've had a lot of problems with the speck cases for my iP4; candyshell didn't fit well and was difficult to remove the iPhone from, the fitted, well, it just wouldn't fit at all (product was defective). Went for the defender, best decision I've made. Nothing beats it for fit, finish, protection. Some say it's big and ugly, it's the beauty inside that counts, right?

I think your misleading people by stating it protects like a hard case ( 2:55 ) and hyping its protection so much in the video. Granted you said its not 'defender' status, but you equal it to a hard case which is untrue. If you drop the phone, its going to fall on its 'edges' %99 of the time, not straight flat on the back, so the corners/sides are what need protection. The rubber does not offer anywhere near the same protection as a hard case when dropped from far. Other than that great review
