  • Pukka of Pekko?

  • @roleraniasno It's a Puukko by Pekka

  • Awful. They needed to put the damn hole on fixblade, just for the sake of weakening it. And for the price i prefer to order a knife directly from Pekka.. much better quality, tougher, hand-forged steel with differential heat treatment.. no damn holes.

  • @Gungrave123 Actually, the hole is there for trademark reasons. If you do decide on getting a custom Puukko directly from Pekka, I'd love to see your review.

  • I want it sooooooo bad.....I'd like to see it in the leather sheath!!!

  • @kinskibrain If you check out some historical tantos, in a museum for example, you'll notice that they are longer but otherwise look quite similar to this puukko.

  • @jeoofro69 Despite being on opposite sides of the world there are many similarities between Japanese and Scandinavian design concepts and history. Your mistake is not uncommon.

  • @jeoofro69 maybe you're thinking of the tanto.

  • Very nice looking, though I do find the spyderhole particularly odd looking on a puukko, and a non-stainless option would be cool, though really isn't a big deal--s30v shouldn't need too much sharpening in the field anyway.

  • some blade markets should not be touched by spyderco. seems very out of place... i dont care though. they can fire out all the designs they want and see what sticks. lol i want to see that yojimbo.
