Boiling water in about 5 minutes. It cooked my lunch and coffee later in the day. We also brewed up two pitchers of tea as well. We love it!!! Everyone should have one of these not just those in 3rd World Countries!

  • Wow... I'm really am sorry. I have actually thought of becoming a distributor of parabolics here in the USA since no one is selling them. I knew I should have ordered a backup. I guess I'll have to try to take good care of this one.

  • How much was your cooker? what site are they on? if you bought it off the net just wondering.

  • Do a web search for WSE Technologies. This is where I order it from. Good Luck!

  • You can get this parabolic solar cooker at SOLAROVENS dotNET

  • could one use thes to heat the house?

  • It is very impressive indeed.

If you cover the pot with a glass lid, the efficiency increases.

The size of the dish looks big; you can easily fry meat, eggs, etc.

Do also cover frying pans, though.

Did you buy this system as a solar cooker, or did you apply mylar on a TV dish?

    Regards from Mexico

  • I bought mine at cantinawest. It works good.

  • How much energy could be collected if there are four of this devises around every street corner?

  • I just orderd one today at

    solarcooker-at-cantinawest[dot]com/
