hey dont knock living in the past. those of us who grew up in the 50s and 60s know how much better those times were because we lived to compare them to now. we know for a fact how much better the past was and how much more desierable a time and place it is to be in.

I don't live in the past, I just play in it. And that's why this music (for me) will live on forever. I have been able to get to of my children interested in classic Doo Wop harmony. I know that when I'm not here anymore street corner harmony will continue for another generation. BTW, I love the music the Mello-Kings put on wax. They were more than a one hit wonder.

I'm 62 and still into it. The best is when you have your own doo-wop group and sing some of these songs.
