Ryan Shay (Notre Dame / Central Lake, Michigan) won the USATF championships in both the marathon and the half-marathon in 2003, his first year as a professional runner. Michigan Runner TV spoke with the 9-time NCAA All-American in March 2004, shortly after the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Men's Marathon.
