The Violin and Harpsichord pieces have always been my favorite works by Bach

I prefer the old world violinists, and Kogan is amazing!

any way kogan is amazing.

I have uploaded fourth part of this sonata with K. Richter. That is absolutely marvelous recording.

As far as I understand this is very early record with Ginzburg. In later times Kogan recorded 6 Sonatoes together with Karl Richter playing harpsichord. To me that later recording is even more amazing.

I can only imagine the pain that inspired this beautiful music. Notes fall like tears with the piano tempo and the the violin cries like wind in the night, a spirit searching for a lost love.
