  • his bow must have been 2 meters:p

  • I can only imagine the pain that inspired this beautiful music. Notes fall like tears with the piano tempo and the the violin cries like wind in the night, a spirit searching for a lost love.

  • reminds me of vocalise

  • The Violin and Harpsichord pieces have always been my favorite works by Bach

  • I prefer the old world violinists, and Kogan is amazing!

  • @rodneywar So true!...

  • what the hell ? ... couldn't they use a harpsichord

    any way kogan is amazing.

  • I feel breathless just listening the first piano's chord.

    minute 0:00 to 0:01.

  • I have uploaded fourth part of this sonata with K. Richter. That is absolutely marvelous recording.

  • As far as I understand this is very early record with Ginzburg. In later times Kogan recorded 6 Sonatoes together with Karl Richter playing harpsichord. To me that later recording is even more amazing.
