The first event industry tweetup of 2010 hosted at Madame Tussauds last night, Tuesday 26th January, was the biggest yet with well over 150 guests attending. In addition to event industry suppliers from caterers to venues the event also attracted corporates including JP Morgan Cazenove, Ernst & Young, Wellcome and Credit Suisse as well as marketing agencies that included RPM, Tamar and Market Sentinel.
Unlike past events the Madame Tussauds tweetup included a number of event professionals who are not yet using social media but who were keen to learn more.
